Application Process
Thank you for your interest in joining the team at Marist Regional College. The information below outlines our recruitment process and what you can expect when applying for a position with us.
Submitting Your Application
Applications must be submitted electronically via the ‘Apply Here’ link on the College Employment page before the advertised closing date and time.
Your application should include the following documents:
• A completed Application for Employment Form
• A cover letter outlining your interest in the position and addressing the key selection criteria (where applicable), demonstrating how your skills, experience, and qualifications align with the role
• A current resume
Referees
Please provide the names and contact details of two professional referees, including:
• A person who has directly supervised your work
• A referee from your current or most recent place of employment
Written references are not required at the application stage.
Shortlisting
Applications will be reviewed after the closing date. Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted to arrange an interview.
Due to the volume of applications received, the College is unable to individually notify applicants who have not been shortlisted. If you have not been contacted within four weeks of the closing date, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion.
Interviews
Interviews typically run for approximately 45–50 minutes and are conducted by a panel of two to three members of the College community.
When confirming your interview, we will provide details about the panel and any additional information you may need to prepare.
Following your interview, we will advise you when you can expect to hear the outcome of your application.
